I began the day’s walk at 9:30am, visiting a number of favourite sites in the Scottish borders area. The fog was thick and visibility was only about two metres. My visit to the borders area always turns up great birds. Today, the highlights were a Black Redstart, a massive flock of Fieldfare, and a magnificent Eurasian Goshawk.
