Tour Packages
While we offer four standard tour packages, specialised tours can be arranged to look for specific species.
Sea-side & Woodland Tour
This is a four-hour tour offering a spectacular range of sea birds and freshwater species, as well as a good range of woodland and grassland birds. From Velvet Scoter and Norther Lapwing to Little Egret, Stonechat and Reed Bunting.
City Slicker
On this three-hour tour, we will explore several sites in the city centre, looking for typical woodland species including Greenfinch, Song Thrush, Eurasian Kestrel, Peregrine Falcon, and in the Spring, nesting Northern Fulmars!
Suburban Stroll
Just outside the city, we offer a four-six hour hillside tour with good chances of Red Grouse, Mistle Thrush, White-throated Dipper and Grey Heron are also common, with Ring Ouzel, Common Cuckoo, and Osprey possible in the summer. Short-eared Owls are frequent in winter.
River Run
On this three-hour tour, we will explore one of several iconic rivers looking for White-throated Dipper, Grey Heron, Great-spotted Woodpecker, Common Kingfisher, Yellowhammer, Grey Wagtail, and other typical woodland species. We’ll also keep eyes peeled for otters.
Tailor-Made Tours
We also offer tailor-made tours outside the Lothians. Popular birding destinations include Fife and the Cairngorms National Park in the breathtaking Highlands.

Unbelievable birding tour with Agana!!! It was a great experience to learn so much about so many bird species what they do and where they come from.
